Doesn’t look as if I’ve done much work, since yesterday but a lot of hard graft and swearing was done today!
Lid now secured, groves cut for the slats and hinges fixed.
All downhill from here.

I like the lid the most. It curves the opposite way and I think works very well......just wish I’d taken some better photographs!

Well, that’s the last of the Treasure Chests gone to its new home in Newtownabbey 😞
I was actually sad to see it go.........it is beautiful though!
