After last week's amazing response to my Facebook post, I thought I would show a few of the new items in the shop this week.

Firstly, a very useful set of Laura Ashley Garrat drawers in "as new" condition for £275

I have a plethora of jugs just waiting to be filled with flowers - £3, £4 and £9

There are lots of "unopened" Beatrix Potter books for just £2 each. They make a lovely alternative to a Birthday or Christening card, and have a space for your message inside the cover.

And just in case it does get muddy enough for boots, I have a collection of new boot jacks for £10 each.

Morning, I hope everyone is enjoying the somewhat cooler temperature today.

It's much better for pottering around and maybe having a browse in Vintage & Country 😊

These are a few of the new items in the shop at the moment:

There's the nicest antique pine chest I have seen in a long time, it has a candle box and "secret" drawer hidden inside - £110

I have a beautiful, hallmarked, silver book mark which would make a lovely gift for someone special.

The last one is a bit unusual for me, but I have acquired a large quantity of lovely quality Robert Welch knives and forks. These retail at £7.75 and £7.00 respectively, but I'm selling them for just £2 each!

I thought I would just share a photo of one of the many new items I have for sale. It's interesting antique, Dutch brick mould which has been repurposed as display shelves. I've never seen one quite like this before!

There are lots of new treasures to uncover in the shop this weekend!

I have a lovely Knight and Gibbons clock with hallmarked silver inlay - £55
A beautiful Highland Pottery vase which needs to be seen to appreciate the quality of the glaze - £45
There are 2 sturdy rush seated chairs - £30 each
A new delivery of fair trade, hand carved, Indian printing blocks has just arrived priced from £6 to £22
All Easter cards are just £1 each 🐣

I finally have a quiet few moments in the shop, so I thought I would do a quick post of the new bits and pieces I have sourced to tempt you 😊

There's a button back chair with matching footstool for just £80...... sorry not the best photo, but I had arranged it in the window then remembered to take a picture!

I particularly love the vintage wooden pulley blocks which make wonderful display items.....I try not to keep too many items I find for the shop, but somehow 2 of these have stayed at home 😁

Following on from the popularity of the embroidery threads I have bought a large quantity of Gutermann sewing and quilting threads.......these are just £1 each or 12 for £10 Do come and grab a bargain.

Speaking of bargains, there will be lots of lovely new £1 Whistlefish cards by this time next week!

Vintage & Country is open once more.

Thank you for your patience whilst I had a little break.

I have still been busy, sourcing new stock though. A few little examples:

A range of lovely, fine china pots which can be used as pencil/paintbrush holders, for makeup brushes or as little planters..... only £6 each.
Add to that a matching notebook for £3 plus a card and you have a really nice, inexpensive gift!

There's a gorgeous Dean's mohair bear, going by the name of Hudson, looking for a good home.

Finally, for all the crafters out there, I have acquired a huge amount of DMC embroidery threads. They are priced at only 50p each or 12 for £5.

Do pop in if you are passing and have a mooch!

It's beginning to look a little bit like Christmas at Vintage & Country🎄
Traditional Advent Calendars, cards and candles are on display in the window, if you are passing by.
Next weekend there will be lots of Whistlefish Christmas cards priced at only £1.20 each or 5 for £5.
As usual, you will be able to buy Christmas gifts at very reasonable prices.
