That’s why we make our furniture and accessories the way we do, with care and attention to detail, all handcrafted in the heart of Wales. The beautiful Welsh countryside and the nearly derelict farmhouse that we bought were the inspiration behind starting our very own business, Maple and Green. We first started out making pieces of furniture to fit our own home, that we just couldn’t find on the m

arket to suit our needs. The positive comments from friends and family gave us the courage to start selling our wares online and things progressed from there. Now our journey to work couldn’t be more different to eight years ago. We slip out of the farmhouse door and across the garden to the workshop where a warm stove awaits on a cold chilly morning.

‘We’ are Grant and Helen, married for 15 years with 2 gorgeous boys who love nothing more than to grab their wellies and go exploring in the countryside. We are surrounded by beautiful woodlands, pastures and coastlines and simply couldn’t imagine changing our lifestyle for anything else. We’ve traded traffic jams in Surrey for feeding hens in the peaceful Welsh countryside and the good life couldn’t get any better. We are a small family run business and we’re able to work really hard on the details that make the difference. We’re fussy about quality, if we would'nt be happy with it, we wouldn’t expect you to be either. We pride ourselves on our good old fashioned service, no call centres, just a helpful voice on the end of the line. If a problem does arise we’ll go that extra mile to make it right, quickly and without a fuss.
