Borg Woodwork Designs Ltd is an independent bespoke furniture company based in Cumbria, founded in 2022 by Shane Borg — a talented craftsman with a lifelong passion for woodwork.
Shane began his journey into the world of carpentry and fine woodwork at the young age of 15, training under some of the best in the industry. After nearly a decade of refining his skills and developing a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, Shane took the bold step to launch his own company at just 24 years old.
Since then, Borg Woodwork Designs has grown into a trusted name, known for producing high-quality, handcrafted pieces that balance timeless style with attention to detail. From custom built-in and freestanding furniture, to unique commissions such as whisky boxes, retail displays, and chopping boards, every item we create is made with care, precision, and respect for the natural beauty of wood.
We work closely with both private clients and well-known brands to turn ideas into pieces that are not only functional but beautifully made to last.
