This was a total makeover job with a brief that included a pergola, water feature composite decking and lots of planting! Plenty for us to get our teeth into!

Image 3: the building contractors had used soil contaminated with jacket leather larvae 🤦🏻‍♀️so our first job was to dig up the lawn to treat this

Before and after…. here’s how to hide an ugly shed!!

Sometimes even simple things like this can make all the difference to your garden - by covering the old stone with wooden boards, and adding a gravelled area for plants in front, we’ve created an attractive storage area that appears more in tune with it surroundings.

This house in Whitchurch underwent a total makeover back & front!!

At the front we replaced the old broken concrete flooring with a brickwork driveway, making much better use of the space and smartening up the overall appearance of the front of the house.

And just wait until you see what we did to the back garden!!

We love it when our customers come back!! Janet used us 10 years ago to design her garden & when she moved she called us again to landscape her new one.

We laid composite decking in the sunniest spot, along with some privacy screening, a new lawn & some beds ready for planting. Brickwork around the lawn gives a neat finish & we installed a UJS favourite - a robotic lawnmower. We love these because they help ‘Make Gardens Manageable’!

Janet had salvaged a beautiful old fireplace from the house renovation & we used this to create an unusual fire pit - what an incredible outdoor feature it makes!! A happy (second time ) customer!

This couple had recently had a baby so gardening wasn’t a priority. They wanted something easy to maintain with space for their growing family. We replaced the paving and beds with a lawn with steps for easy access to the house, and installed a robotic lawnmower. Cheaper than Astro turf without the hassle of cutting the grass. Job done!!

This side alley in Penarth needed a bit of love… in just 4 days we transformed a dark, overgrown alley into a light, easy to manage attractive space. A raised bed is ready to be filled with spring colour, we replaced the old paving with some light coloured stone and a paved pathway leading to the French doors. And can you spot the drain cover from the before pics? No? That’s because we use chameleon manhole covers as standard so you don’t have unsightly drain covers ruining the look of your garden.

Decking looks great but isn’t always the most practical solution in rainy Wales as it can get pretty slippery!

Here we replaced the slippery decking with a patio and some raised beds ready for some spring colour.

Swapping timber for composite decking like we did in this Cardiff garden is a no brainer... it might cost a little more but it has the look of natural wood, doesn’t get slippy when wet (and with our lovely climate in Wales this has to be a bonus!) and it won’t rot so has a much longer shelf life.
