Necessary Furniture At Necessary Furniture, our mission is to support our local community. We offer affordable second-hand furniture at a suggested donation price.

As a self-funded,non-profit charity,we save hundreds of tonnes from landfill each year. Charity Number 1091602. Through the re-distribution of household goods, Necessary Furniture is making a positive contribution to the welfare of the disadvantaged in our community. We work in partnership with similarly motivated charitable organisations and agencies. Every year our activity saves thousands of perfectly usable furniture entering the waste stream only to become landfill.

💚 Organising the clothing department is no small task!

💛 We have 3 rooms full of wonderful clothing, shoes and accessory donations, and 6 amazing volunteers working their socks off to sort, organise and display everything beautifully for you!

💚 They'll be with us all week, so any sweet treats, biscuits or chocolates would be very gratefully received to keep them going! 🍪☕

💛 Once everything is organised, we'll be looking for weekly volunteers to help us keep the department tidy, stocked and looking its best.

💚 If you have a few spare hours each week and would like to join our fantastic team, we'd LOVE to hear from you!
