Another of our commission pieces finished and delivered last week was this lovely vintage arm chair. Sometimes the makeover isn’t so much about a transformation but restoring to its former glory.

The customer wanted to try and keep it as close to its original state as possible so we sourced a similar style fabric from Dunelm and repainted the woodwork in ‘Birch Grove’ by Albany Paint and Wallpaper

It’s now looking great back in its space alongside the bedside unit we made over. Thank you to our lovely customer for trusting us with these valued items!

Our latest commission was dropped off back to its home yesterday. This lovely little 1930s unit was originally the customer’s mother’s so he wanted to update it and put his own spin on it.

We love when a customer comes with a clear vision and our brief was ‘some blue, yellow and red with a black top’. Something we would maybe have never thought of ourselves but we love the end result! We chose a selection of heritage colours to suit the piece and it’s giving fun but classic!

We always find it such an honour to be entrusted with these special, sentimental pieces. Thank you!

MINTY FRESH 🍃

This Schreiber sideboard had the most beautiful mid-century shape just waiting to be shown off. We wanted something bold and joyful so ‘Arsenic’ from Farrow & Ball was the perfect shade of uplifting mint. Paired with a complementary custom pink from Valspar UK & Ireland on the interior for a little “oh wow” moment every time you open the doors.

We think they’re a match made in upcycle heaven — but we’d love to know what you think! 💚🩷

These cute pine bedsides were snapped up by a repeat customer of ours and they are now ready for delivery.

They chose one of our firm favourites ‘Ruby Rouge’ from paired perfectly with exposed wooden tops finished in Tung oil for that natural warmth. Finished off with new ceramic pumpkin k***s in cream and antique brass.

They each have a little space beneath the drawer, the perfect spot to stack your current reads (our book loving customer’s favourite feature).

Commissions now open for April so get booked in if you have anything that needs a new lease of life!

STARBOY 🚀

We recently finished the latest room in our house, a subtly space themed, playful space for our little star. We chose a fresh mid-blue paired with pops of soft mid-yellow throughout. We painted a deep space blue around the bed and onto the ceiling to create a cosy little cocoon.

A trusty Kallax unit was adapted to become the perfect toy storage under a new custom built curved desk and we reloved the once pink wardrobe. There really is no need to buy new when you can adapt and repaint your existing furniture to match the new space!

Our latest project was converting this old chest of drawers and repurposing it to fit as a vanity unit in our downstairs loo 🐠

We chose ‘Ruby Rouge’ to complement the pinky purple tones of the ocean print wallpaper and kept the original antique brass hardware. It’s given the small space bags of character and a warm softness.

We are open to commissions if you have any pieces of furniture that could do with a new lease of life, an injection of colour or just restoring to its former glory!
