Another 8 vavuum drums worth of dry contamination taken out of 5 carpeted rooms!

I'll have these carpets, clean, fresh and sanitary ready for the new owners to move in.

Also treating the carpets with an antibacterial and antifungal treatment.

Today's end of tenancy carpet clean in Camelford wasn't possible as the tenant had bleached all of the carpets.

I've had to inform the owner today that the whole carpet and underlay will need replacing 🤯

Backing Damage: ⚠️
Even if the top fibers are bleach-safe, bleach can seep through and rot the carpet backing and underlay, which are rarely resistant to harsh chemicals.

Health Hazards: ☣️
Bleach fumes are toxic. keep children and pets away to avoid chemical burns and breathing difficulties. Would you want a baby crawling around on a bleached carpet!!

Color Stripping: 🎨
On non-polypropylene carpets, bleach will instantly strip the color, often leaving behind permanent yellow or white "chemical burn".

Be carful out there today folks... It's started 🤣
