Lisa Cramp Upholstery Lisa Cramp Upholstery I am a trained City and Guilds Upholster and have been running my business for 14 years now.

For the last 6 years I have also been teaching upholstery evening and day classes. The majority of my business comes from local customers who have either an inherited piece that they want upholstered in a traditional way with top fabric to match their more modern interior decoration or more modern pieces that need an uplift. I have had through word of mouth and my etsy.com shop site customers all

over the UK and even a client who commissioned me to source and upholster two deep buttoned chairs and ship to New York

I also spend my spare time attending short courses to learn new techniques and crafts. I find the training an essential so I can produce quality items. This has now allowed me to adventure into another crafts and now I'm able to sell a wide variety of crafted and quality up-cycled goods on etsy.com/uk/shop/lisacramp

Last week the sun came out and I went back into the workshop! I know I’ve been a wuss but it’s been so cold and wet! But I’m back and it’s great!
This is an armchair traditionally upholstered with springs, hessian, coir fibre, hair, tacks and a lot of hand stitching. One of my students upholstered this in my class but was unable to finish it. So I’m finishing it for her. 😁. Enjoying the traditional …. My hands might not though 🥴😳
