Its been a long time since we have posted on FB, having finally reached 'that age' of life.😃
Catriona has now retired from Sula Furnishing as a business and would like to thank all our lovely customers over the years for their support enabling us to work with beautiful fabrics and in stunning places. Its been a blast ! ❤️

However, Catriona is not sitting still and is now teaching residential courses in Soft Furnishings at the lovely Gartmore House near Aberfoyle. Hopefully see some of you there ?

The Sula team were delighted to be involved in helping the Buchanan clan with preparations for this wonderful event. We created the red velvet cushions and arm covers for their handmade stone throne using a gorgeous red velvet fabric.
Fit for a Clan Chief.

John Michael Baillie-Hamilton Buchanan was appointed chief of Clan Buchanan and will lead the first Clan Parliament since 1681.

One of our clever clients is working hard to create these beautiful tapestries to cover each of her dining room chairs. The Sula team are more than happy to help with this goal.
Many hours of work go in to each tapestry but this is a wonderful way to show them off.
2 done, 6 to go ! 😲
Wonder if we will get an invite to dinner when they are all done ??🤔

At Sula we have been having a wee break from social media for a few months but this gorgeous checked, wool fabric from The Isle Mill is just too beautiful not to share.
If only you could feel how soft it is.

This much loved wing backed chair was returned to its owners today, looking fantastic in its new checked wool fabric from Osborne and Little.
Its been in the family for a very long time and will now continue to be loved for many years to come.
Luckily we had just enough spare fabric to cover the wee stool to match.

Two antique chairs repaired, reupholstered fully and then recovered in this quietly gorgeous aqua blue Moon wool fabric.
The finished result is two very beautiful and elegant chairs.😊
