Rare Pair Signed Mid-Century Modern T. Fournier D'Albe Block Glass Table Lamps (Paris)– Mint.

An exceptional, rare pair of Mid-Century Modern architectural block glass table lamps dating from the late 1960s to the 1970s. This matched set features heavy-pressed geometric clear glass blocks arranged in a striking Brutalist column format, beautifully mounted on substantial hand-turned wooden bases.Both bases bear the clear maker’s mark/signature stamp of T. Fournier D’Albe, indicating a high-quality studio commission or custom artisan-finished production. Symmetrical lighting vignettes of this scale and quality are incredibly difficult to find intact, making this pair perfect for upscale interior design styling.Condition Report:Glass: Pristine vintage condition. The heavy clear glass columns are completely free of chips, fleabites, hairline fractures, or internal cloudiness.Bases: The hand-turned wooden bases and matching top caps retain a beautiful, warm grain pattern with only light, age-appropriate surface wear.Shades: Sold without shades, allowing you to customize them with your own period-correct linen or texturized mid-century drum shades.

Antique Art Nouveau Barbotine Majolica Elephant Vase Poppy Slipware c.1900
The Elephant Motif: The handle features a full elephant head with distinct molded ears and a downward-curving trunk that loops back to form the handle grip.
Combining standard European floral imagery (poppies) with exotic African or Asian fauna (elephants) was a signature trend of late 19th-century Orientalism and Japonisme movements that heavily influenced Art Nouveau potters.

You can clearly see a fine network of spiderweb lines running across the orange section. This is crazing, caused by the ceramic body and the glaze cooling at different rates in the kiln. It is a completely normal sign of aging for antique majolica.
