When the tradesperson that’s just finished working on your home or project, give you their invoice

Please don’t f**k about

This is the most stressful time for these trades

The moment the email is sent - the anxiety begins

“They’re gonna knock me”

“What if they don’t pay”

“They’re going to find something over the weekend to excuse not paying”

And every second that passes - this compounds

And the thing is … that invoice that landed in your inbox, is a low priority for you

You have a busy life - I get it

But for the person waiting it can be the difference between feeding their families that weekend (or not)

And this mismatch of priorities creates angst, friction and fear …

So assuming you’re happy with the work and the payment terms are met, please pay the bill

Someone’s mortgage might depend on that
