Let’s talk handles …

In our opinion, handles are one of the most important decisions when it comes to furniture—especially in the kitchen. They can completely transform a space, and they’re something we never take lightly when designing for our clients.

We’ll admit it… we’re handle snobs. Not in an unsympathetic way—we absolutely understand budgets and that not everyone can (or wants to) spend £30+ on a single handle, especially when there are 30 of them in a kitchen.

But to us, the right handle can elevate a space from mediocre to absolutely amazing. Design, finish, and placement all matter—hugely.

It’s just one of those details where thoughtful design makes all the difference… and something AI might just get wrong …

** NEW PROJECT **

We’re so excited to be collaborating with a developer on one of their latest projects ✨

For this new-build home, we’ll be designing and installing the kitchen, walk-through pantry, and utility, and here’s a little insight into the kitchen design.

The brief was to create a clean, functional space with a Modern Organic feel. We’ve combined crisp, clean lines with layered textures and a soft, muted colour palette to keep the space calm and timeless.

The real star of the show will be the strongly veined worktop, bringing depth and character to the heart of the home.

Installation is planned for Spring time, and we can’t wait to share the finished space with you 🤍

Being trusted by clients to manufacture bespoke pieces throughout the home we love. Our business grew from our parents’ handmade joinery company, and with that heritage came a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and detail.

Our love for handmade furniture naturally evolved from joinery, which means we see no boundaries when it comes to design. We thrive on creating pieces that are not only functional but truly unique.

This home bar was a perfect example. Working alongside a talented interior designer who had a clear vision for the space, we were able to bring it to life - carefully navigating uneven walls and celebrating the character of the existing oak beams. We loved collaborating to resolve all the technical details, ensuring the finished piece felt seamless within the home.

One subject we are always asked about when designing is lighting - it truly can make or break a room. We absolutely love working with interior designers; their lighting knowledge is second to none, and we find ourselves completely absorbed in any conversation around the topic, often in awe of their expertise.

Of course, we are also regularly asked to source the perfect lighting to suit a space. Whether its pendant lights over an island or dining table, or wall lights - which were undeniably the it-light of 2025 - we LOVE scouring the internet to find the right match for you.
