‘Longpré, making dreams come true.’

Featured in the first episode of Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen’s new Channel 4 series ‘Outrageous Homes’, Highfield Estate in Warwickshire presents a heady mix of fun, function and fantasy.

Originally the residence of the late poet and publisher Felix Dennis, Highfield, features imaginative, playful interiors by acclaimed designer Johnny Grey, taking inspiration from Dennis’ love for all things Treasure Island.

The master suite showcases the whimsical elm four poster ‘Pirate’ bed, incorporating 1:1.25 hand carved figureheads together with a hidden internal staircase leading to the ‘crows’ nest’ platform. A fully functional olive ash kitchenette sits adjacent to the bedroom.
