Life's a Stitch was founded in 2014 and with 7 years of industry experience, a BA degree in Fashion and Textiles, a post graduate degree in secondary education teaching Textiles and a passion for sewing, I have the skills, knowledge and experience to help with any sewing services you may require. With excellent seamstress and tailoring skills, I specialise in wedding alterations that includes brid

al gowns, bridesmaids dresses and tailoring mens suits. I offer a professional alteration, repair and restyling service on all garments and textiles including leather and denim garments with a quick turn over and at an affordable price.

🧵The one on the left had a new zip put in and the straps shortened.

🪡The one on the right was resized on the waist by letting out darts and pleats and inserting fabric on the waist band.

Before and after of a beautiful dress that has been re-styled to my clients specification.

🧵Pink ribbed paneling has been added to the side seams as both a design feature and to increase the waist size

🪡 Darts added to the back to make the dress tailored and fit perfectly 👌

✂️ A fabric panel added to neckline for modesty.

🧵A waist band and cuffs were added to tie the outfit together perfectly 👌

Dress was collected this morning and my client is excited to wear today at the races with her custom hat she has had made. Can't wait to see the pictures 😍
