This piece of furniture was in a terrible state and very unloved, it has taken several weeks to turn this into a piece of furniture that somebody will love. The bottom is painted in Greyhound and the top in Pale Pewter by Recolour.

Just waiting for the clear varnish to set but couldn’t wait to post this. It was a delight to show this fabulous wood top off. The legs are painted with Old Wise Sage. The top took several attempts to sand and remove brown varnish but we got there!

One of my latest projects just completed yesterday. The top had a large crack in, so had to fill and sand several times to get it is as smooth as possible and I was happy with it. Drawers can be accessed from both sides. Painted in Hornblower. Left some of the wood natural - just sugar soaped and polished it.
