Happytat Happytat is a community enterprise, operating underneath the LoveBristol charity umbrella.

The main purpose of Happytat is to generate income for the charitable work of LoveBristol and inHope (formerly Crisis Centre Ministries) - supporting local initiatives tackling homelessness & drug and alcohol addiction in Bristol. The enterprise model works through the sale, recycle and up-cycle of donated furniture, whilst also providing opportunities for vulnerable adults and those recovering fr

om addiction to get back into work. The aim is to partner with local organisations and to build volunteers up - giving them an opportunity to increase in confidence and gain tangible experience and skills, so they can move on to paid work with a positive and reliable reference. Happytat also supports upcycling of furniture and local commission artists by selling their work and plants in the shop.

Furniture Collection Assistant for Happytat & Treasure

Location: Happytat & Treasure, Croft House Bristol BS13TB (Stokes Croft & beyond)
Availability: 1-2 days per week

Are you passionate about sustainability, community, and second-hand treasures? LoveBristol’s Happytat & Treasure is looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer to join our delivery driver in collecting all sorts of cool furniture—including vintage gems!

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Riding along with our delivery driver to collect donated furniture across Bristol.
• Lifting and moving furniture (must be physically able to do so).
• Engaging with donors and representing our welcoming, community-driven ethos.
• Helping to bring new life to pre-loved items while supporting a local charity and church.

What We’re Looking For:
• Someone who shares LoveBristol’s values of generosity, community, and kindness.
• A friendly, reliable team player who enjoys being out and about.
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting furniture.


This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, be part of something meaningful, and make a tangible difference in the community.

Looking to catch the vintage vibe this autumn. We have just had this great mid century modern coffee table in by Gesneden. It has a lovely copper top which is decorated with scenes from nature.
