A message to all our current & potential clients
We wanted to update you on how TOTO Interiors will be managing ongoing projects and client contact during the Coronavirus outbreak. Currently, the government have said that we are able to continue working within people’s homes, as long as we observe the 2m social distancing rules. As things stand, we do not feel it appropriate to put you or ourselves at that risk. Once testing is made available and more is understood regarding reinfection levels and how the NHS is coping we will, of course, review our position.
I hope you appreciate that, as a small family run business, our priority is the welfare of both clients and our family. If we do take the decision to reinstate on site work please be assured that we will work to stringent safety measures. My wife is considered high risk and I will be taking all precautions to ensure we work in a socially responsible manner.
We are currently able to offer video calls to facilitate initial quotes and, where more detailed information is required, we may be able to visit on site. The making of client projects should be able to continue at the workshop but may be subject to delays due to staff sickness and supply chain issues. Rest assured, as we progress with your project, we will keep you updated on a regular basis. If we are able to take the position of continuing with installation, or in the instance of needing onsite access for the purposes of quotation, we will be following the protocol below:
• All furniture to be installed will have been disinfected before transport
• We will ring you upon arrival so that you can allow access without contact
• We will be wearing masks, gloves and eyewear wherever possible
• We will need access to hand washing facilities but will sanitize these after use
• We will need clear access to the room to be worked in and will be using Dettol wipes (or similar) to clean all surfaces before we commence work
• We will bring our own food and drink so that our lovely clients don’t have to put themselves at risk by offering cups of tea!
We hope these measures will reassure you that we are taking the situation very seriously. As a small business, we obviously want to continue to work as much and as soon as possible but we want to be sure that we can do so responsibly. Please contact us if you have any concerns or questions.
