"Upcycling: From green ideas to starting a business" ♻️


Last week I signed up to this course on Future Learn. I've really enjoyed week 1, learning about lots of inspiring case studies, understanding current environmental challenges and pinning down some key concepts 🤓


I opted for the name Circular 73, as I wanted to capture the idea behind reusing and recycling old pieces of furniture, giving them a new lease of life. The course summarised perfectly how the circular economy is a sustainable process, using ecodesign in all stages of production to efficiently, consciously and creatively turn waste into a resource.

Squeezed in a last min commission for before I sign off for some sunshine for the week ☀️ This one took a little DIY to repair some cracks, fill and redrill holes for a new set of k***s and sturdy up some tired old feet, but we got there in the end and she is looking fresh and ready for a new home 🏠
