Catherine is a paper artist based in Wales.

Her practice centres on botanical sculptures inspired by common lands reimagined from childhood.

Using wild flora as visual metaphors, her work examines matrilineal lineages, our sense of community and belonging - hiraeth - alongside plant lore traditionally shared by women.

Inspiring work and delightfully appropriate the week of the Chelsea Flower Show.

What. A. Day. ✨

Louisa Pacifico has, as ever, done an amazing job pulling together such an interesting variety of uber-talented makers in one space .

The vibe was upbeat and joyful, open and supportive; and her ability to not just curate but truly connect makers so cohesively means each piece gets to sing and bounce off another’s work, becoming part of something even bigger as a whole.

Only sad we didn’t make it down for the opening last week, as by all accounts it was absolutely jumping. 🙌🥳
