It’s quite a job cataloguing this lot for the sale next Thursday 18th Please spread the word and grab a bargain. Some of these timbers are so precious now and irreplaceable: Kingwood, Rosewood, Purple Heart, Tulipwood, Lacewood. There are also large planks/logs of Laburnum, Boxwood, Yew, Cuban Mahogany, Satinwood, Walnut, Maple and Teak. It was a hard decision to slim down our collection but we hope these rare and wonderful timbers will be greatly loved by other makers across the UK

New start for a new year! It’s wonderful to be back to work in our new, warm barn. The space is very different from our previous open plan agricultural barn. We have two downstairs workshops for restoration and storage and upstairs an upholstery workshop as well as a painting/gilding/ polishing shop. We still need to fit out a lot of shelving and organise the space but we will get there gently in time.

We did it! After 21 years in Surrey we have started the new year in Hampshire. We’re excited and exhausted after the Herculean task of sorting, selling and moving so much. We look forward to welcoming you to our lovely new purpose built barn in Hampshire.

Andrew cheerfully sorting through a selection of gorgeous boxwood and laburnum. We are making progress in splitting up our timber store- we’re only keeping half of it. In the New Year (date TBC) it will go to auction- we’ve filled two ISO containers so far! Please put the word out to any wood enthusiasts- there will be many indigenous and rare and exotic timbers for sale
