I use a selection of specialist primers, paints and sprays to get an ultra expert finish. I can advise you on shade selection, specialist techniques and full transformation results🪄

I have a facility to collect and deliver your furniture for you, if transportation is an issue🚚

I absolutely love the story behind this commissioned piece of work I did a couple of months ago. It’s such a touching tribute to the clients’ dear grandad and it was an honour to be involved in something so special...

The customer wanted this trunk/mule chest he had purchased from EBay restoring. He wanted it to look old and worn, (NOT AT ALL DISNEY) but with a stylish modern flare to it.

He wanted his Grandads WW2 aircraft carrier details stencilled onto it. The customer was extremely close to his granfather who sadly passed away in 2012. He had been a Royal Marine in WW2 & then a fireman for 25yrs there after....❤️

This was such a privilege to create. I have been granted permission to share this info & the photos with you.

Hi my name is Rebecca & I own & run The Furniture Restoration Project. I started my career working in the air as cabin crew for 10 years, then became a stay at home mummy. I started refurbishing my own home wear and furniture, got lots of positive comments and people falling in love with my work I thought I’m going to make a go of this! I bought a 2nd hand vintage grandmother clock a couple of months ago, did it up and it sold within 2 days!

If you do something you love, you won’t work a day in your life right?

Everything is completed by hand. Attention to detail is something that I’m extremely passionate about. I work from my own workshop in an outbuilding at our home based in Staining. My future plans are to turn half of this into a showroom that I could open to general public. I have a natural ability to see or find unique and beautiful items, which may seem ugly to others but I can see potential & capacity to develop into something beautiful! I specialise in the restoration of heritage/vintage items being able to make judgements instantly on items with an exceptional flair for home design. With unique styling & design for furniture refurbs, I believe is something that nobody else in this area is currently doing.

My husband has been in the painting industry for almost 25 years, so I have a fabulous teacher & confident photographer. To describe this business in one sentence I would say we are a small family run, intimate and personal business that is friendly, trustworthy, present & approachable.
