We know that looking after your valuable leather furniture is essential so here is a quick, essential guide about keeping it in the best condition.

Leather care top tips:

Wipe down and vacuum your sofa regularly to remove any dust and debris this helps remove dirt and debris that would damage the finish as well as buff out scratches and cracks and help prevent them worsening.

Use a leather conditioner every 6 to 12 months. This helps keep the leather soft and supple, preventing it from drying out and cracking as a result.

Mop up spills with a damp cloth. Leather and water don’t mix well so in the event of a spillage, use a damp cloth to wipe away the excess moisture and then dry the area afterwards.

Avoid using all-purpose wipes and sprays from the supermarket, as they can contain chemicals that can damage your sofa.

Keep your leather sofa out of direct sunlight as this can affect the colour of the leather and increase the risk of cracking too. We would not advise applying suncream to your sofa.😎
