Saturday inspiration... A well-made dresser earns its place in any kitchen, and rewards you for going tall with it.

Use the lower half for storage, the middle for the pieces you reach for daily, and the top for the things worth displaying. The higher shelves needn't go to waste either: a ladder brings them into play, turning the full height of the dresser into genuinely usable space.

The cabinetry here takes its cue directly from our own showroom: the Classic In-Frame.

A beaded front frame gives the doors a fine, well-defined edge, while a deeper moulding set within the door adds shadow and depth. Small moves, but they're what give the joinery its handmade character.

And there's plenty to speak for here. The appliances have been carefully positioned throughout, each one set to work as hard as the space around it, so the kitchen flows the way a working kitchen should. Practical thinking, shown from every side.
