Cherry and Sapele CorneR TV Stand.

Been a while since I posted a build. This one wasn’t for a client it was for me and my wife.

On this one I really like the interlocking slats on the back rather than a large panel, especially as it’s a slightly more traditional looking piece of furniture than I usually design - tell me what you think.

Exactly one year into woodworking (the day I bought a table saw) and the Walnut, Oak, African Blackwood, and brass backgammon table is complete and has been delivered to the client!

Swipe across to see some different shots of it, taken by my brother and mine and debut backgammon acting performance.

Everything has been made from complete scratch apart from the dice!

This piece has a push-to-open drawer with continuous grain around it, two pull out trays for holding drinks, a cover for regular table use, and pegs to hold the cover when the game is being played.

Thanks to who did the CNC work (engraving the angel wings into various panels that I sent him, which I later filled with epoxy and brass).

The t shirt I’m wearing on the first slide is one of lovely designs, head to his page if you want one!
