This one came in with no brakes. The cause? The wet timing belt had broken up and sent debris straight into the vacuum pump, destroying it completely. No vacuum pump means no brake servo assistance.

The Ford EcoBlue 2.0 wet belt is a known issue on 2017 onwards Transits. When the belt deteriorates, debris circulates through the engine oil and can take out other components — in this case, the brakes.
Full wet belt service carried out including new belt, tensioners, and vacuum pump replacement.

⚠️ If your Transit Custom has covered 60,000 miles or is 5 years old, don’t wait for a warning light. By then it can already be too late.

🔧 Scania P410 Exhaust Repair 🔧

This P410 came in with exhaust leaks and damage. We’ve renewed the fire rings and gaskets, fitted a new manifold section, and replaced the flexi pipe.

All back together properly and ready to get back to work ✅

Clutch, Flywheel & Rear Main Seal Replacement – Iveco Daily (2022)

This Iveco Daily came in with a leaking rear main seal. The oil leak quickly contaminated the clutch, and within a short time the clutch and flywheel were completely destroyed.

To put it right we carried out:
• Rear main seal replacement
• New clutch and flywheel installation
• All bolts torqued to manufacturer specification

The vehicle is now leak-free, fitted with a fresh clutch setup, and back on the road.

Oxford Commercials is looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our independent commercial vehicle workshop near Bicester.

This is a full-time, permanent role with regular hours and a good variety of work. You’ll be part of a small, committed team working on trucks and trailers — everything from inspections and servicing to diagnostics and repairs.

What we’re looking for:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in HGV or vehicle maintenance

Class 1 (C+E) licence preferred but not essential

Ah, the glamorous world of Scania repairs. 🚛🔧

This one rolled in dripping oil everywhere—a leaking sump and ladder gasket making a proper mess. So, we got stuck in: stripped it down, cleaned off the grime, and rebuilt it properly. Now it’s back together, ready to hit the road, and not a puddle in sight.
