Suns out - crocs on!! 🌞
Finished and fitted this bench seating this week- still a bit cross eyed from the stripes, but happy with the result.
Now a disused corner becomes a family hub!

Seems impossible that 6 years ago, my workshop was turning out medical scrubs instead of furniture!
I joined a local group of makers, turning donated bedding into scrubs for our local hospitals.
Of course, I wanted the most colourful and fun bedding possible 😊

Thought I’d share a few ‘process’ pics with you.
Remember that leather hide I mentioned last week? It was bought to remake some sofa cushion covers..
Here are some of the steps I took, just to show what goes into producing these covers. It’s always a little tricky when I’m having to replace part of an item, as opposed to starting from scratch.
Cushions / chairs like anything else, are put together in a certain order. So trying to come in, and remove / replace out of sequence can make a repair challenging. Am very happy with how these turned out though, and my customer now has their sofa back in all its glory!
