Edward Oliver opened in January 2004 and has become well established with a reputation for selling interesting yet functional pieces of furniture as well as choice decorative objects. You won't find any shiny,brown pieces of furniture, instead an eclectic mixture of 19th and 20th century vintage,
painted and modern items fill the showrooms. Each piece has been carefully restored where needed and
as a result has been given a new lease of life for a few more generations. After studying contemporary furniture design at the Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College in High Wycombe Edward began designing and making bespoke pieces of furniture from commissions. This lead to an appreciation of the design and structure of period furniture and lighting
and an interest in sourcing damaged or incomplete items and bringing them back to life.
