Just completed the installation of this bespoke shelving unit, crafted from Finsa Hydro Fugo and finished in a premium spray-coated anthracite black.

A clean, contemporary design with a durable, moisture-resistant core. built to last while elevating the space.

Really pleased with how this one turned out.

Recently completed bespoke media wall, designed and built to a premium specification.

The carcass is constructed from high-grade moisture-resistant MDF and professionally spray finished for a flawless, seamless look. A solid oak worksurface adds warmth and contrast, bringing a natural element to the clean architectural lines.

The centrepiece is a 50” electric fire, with integrated skirting and coving to ensure the installation feels completely built-in. Black acoustic panelling adds depth and texture, while 3000K warm white LED lighting (remote controlled) creates a soft, ambient glow. A fully articulated TV mount is discreetly incorporated for flexibility without compromising the finish.

Everything is made to measure by hand and tailored to the space. no flat-pack solutions, just precision joinery and attention to detail.

As we head into the New Year, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported Measure Twice Cut Nice throughout 2025 🙏✨

It has been a busy and memorable year both professionally and personally, welcoming twins alongside completing some great bespoke projects 🏡🪵 Every job, recommendation, message and bit of trust placed in me genuinely means a lot, and I am very grateful to all of my clients for choosing me to on their homes.

Why are media walls so popular right now?

They add character to otherwise plain rooms, create a strong focal point, hide cables and clutter. all while keeping things clean and modern. Or give a cozy warm feel like this one.

I finished this one today near Caerphilly.
It is a chimney breast media unit with a tumbled brick slips, warm downlighting, electric fire, sleek stone hearth and a solid oak mantle.
