Living in a woodland, and being around trees everyday i have learnt, wood is not supposed to be a sawn straight piece, when we buy from Ikea and other big markets, we see no character in the wood, its square - straight - no defects - and same old grain.. i believe ' Rustic ' or ' Natural ' has so much character that you can see it every morning and still say oh look at that knot or look at that gr

ain going the opposite way! ". Wavy bumpy holey grainy wood holds so much character its amazing! i love working with it and i love looking at it,

I'd like to share my work with you all and its so nice knowing it is someones favorite possessions sitting on there mantle piece! Remembering all done by hand no power tools! apart from the obvious being a woodsman too.. a chainsaw
