Recovery Enterprises is a Social Enterprise initiative, unique to Barnsley, and has been developed by Barnsley Alcohol & Drug Advisory Service (BADAS) alongside members of the Barnsley Recovery Forum and aims to provide inspirational opportunities for people in recovery from drug and alcohol problems to help themselves and their communities.

General information

Opportunities within the project include recovering and restoring wooden household items that would be heading prematurely to landfill sites. Items of furniture will receive makeovers and be given added value ready for re-sale to the general public. Alongside this, there will be an area within the workshop to manufacture wooden items for sale such as bird tables and children's chalk boards.
