Getting very excited about Reuse & Repair Week 2026 😀

Why not drop in to Remakery Studio for a Furniture Upcycling Taster on Saturday 6 June 2pm - 5pm
and discover how easy it is to transform dated furniture into something beautiful and unique!

🧽 Preparation, priming and sanding
🧑‍🎨 Applying paints and finishes
🎨 Creative ideas using stencils, coloured waxes, distressing, paint wash, crackle glaze

No need to book - just drop in between 2pm - 5pm.
Look out for Remakery sign on the corner of High Street and Holborn Avenue, Bangor.

Difficult to get good photos of this pair of statement pieces! Painted in the same colours - just reversed! Trust me they look much better in the shop - but hey don’t take my word for it - why not pop in and see for yourself.

This little vintage pine table has had a bit of a journey.. painted it off white then overpainted part of that with dark blue 😕 not sure 😕so it sat and sat waiting for inspiration! our paint mixing guru in Remakery suggested a lighter blue wash over it all 😀 what about the drawer? 😕 inspiration came in the Musée D’Orsay in Paris with The Circus by Georges Seurat - applying small dots/strokes of colour for his masterpieces 🧑‍🎨🎨 obviously I’m not in the same league but hey I like it 😀

Okay so photo one is from Musée Chaquemart-Andre in Paris - decor by lady who lived there. Many years later same colours painted by the ladies of Remakery on beautiful but dated furniture … colour through the centuries … 😀
