Here is a stove installation I did toward the end of last year in Spean Bridge. I was asked to make and fit a mantle piece which I did recently, part of my woodworking side of work. This is a piece of Olive Ash which is responsibly sourced by Loch Awe Hardwoods. Stove and components supplied by Backwoodsman Stoves in Barcaldine, a small family run business supplying quality British made stoves.

A non compliant installation that I have been asked to bring up to standard. As can be seen on the right, a significant amount of masonry had been removed in the past leaving only a partial brick and a bit of slate. Next phase will be plastering and made ready for decorating.
