Floral Chicken The Floral Chicken is able to provide an upholstery service alongside individually restored pieces of furniture and hand crafted furnishings for your home.

The Floral Chicken, a Venture by Stuart and Gail, aims to find a new life for old items by renovating, restoring and reupholstering furniture items. We can also provide an upholstery service to your own items alongside producing new items and individually crafted interior pieces. Stuart has trained with Ministry of Upholstery.

While trading today at Duck Pond Market in Ruislip this fabulous old lady (1955/56 ercol 203 frame with her fancy new covers) found her new home. Bon voyage and enjoy your next adventure.

We do have a few other old ladies (1950's and 1960's Ercol frames) needing to be adopted. Reasonable adoption fees apply - depending how fancy you want her to look.

Come and join us along at the great this Sunday along with a great range of other stalls. You can even get a great lunch and the weather looks fabulous.

This lovely Ercol 203 chair has just finished a refurbishment and will be making it's first and possibly only appearance. It is a very early 1955/56 chair but with brand new cushions.

First come first served as this is the last of this stunning velvet!

We do have some other frames awaiting to be refurbished so if you want one in your own style then come and see us.

We have just got in several Ercol 203 chair frames. These are original.mid century frames. The 2 with springs are from between 1953 and 1955 the third with straps is from between 1955 and 1957. The pair with springs may be OK with just the arms refurbished and the rest of the frame having a clean and Polish. The other probably needs stripping back to bare wood and refinishing all over as the original varnish is in a more deteriorated state. We can make cushions in your choice of fabric. Costs will depend on the amount of work you want us to do and the fabric you choose. If you want to donthe work yourself then can just sell the frames as are. If interested get in touch for a discussion.

Today we delivered back a matching pair of Greaves and Thomas egg chairs. Both done in Close Encounters Grey Skies fabric. Customer has had these in the family since he was young (now 61). Remembers playing on them with his sister spinning them around and around. They are now ready for another 50+ years. They had to wait a while but now very happy customers.

This coming Sunday we will be at the with the . Come and enjoy an interesting day out at the green festival. We will have a range of the new more eco friendly fabrics to look at that are on the market. Along with a fab little chair making it's first appearance. Also got these 2 Ercol classics. Both 1978 (chair is dated) . The ercol 203 2 seater sofa made from 1958 to 1983. The ercol 478 easy chair was made between 1962 and 1985. Both need new webbing and cushions which we can do in what ever you like.
