Some wonderful feedback from 2 patients who both have a severe needle phobia 💉

Needle phobia is extremely common and affects at least 1 in 10 people. Unfortunately a fear of needles can often prevent people from seeking the medical care they need 😔

At Blood Tests at Home we understand how challenging blood tests can be for people who have a needle phobia. We will do everything we can to make the experience as stress free as possible 💖 Please don’t avoid having your blood test, we are here to help 🫶🏼

This beautiful weather has us thinking about the benefits of Vitamin D ☀️

☀️Vitamin D plays an important role in keeping your bones, muscles and immune system healthy.

☀️Your body makes around 90% of the vitamin D it needs, but this can only happen when your skin gets enough direct UV light from sunshine. However, due to the UK’s lack of sunshine up to 50% of adults are vitamin D deficient.

☀️Low levels of Vitamin D can lead to a weakened immune system, fatigue, bone disorders and mood changes.

🩸The best way of checking if your Vitamin D levels are low is with a blood test. Your GP can provide you with a blood request form and we can do the rest 🤩

You may have noticed that we have recently changed our business name. This is due to us often being mistaken for another business (who were previously known as Home Bloods Direct) that now also use the name Blood Tests at Home.

To save any confusion we have tweaked our name slightly. Still the same great service, still the same great people 🥰

I want to take 5 minutes of your time to let everyone know I have officially retired.
As all our regulars know I haven't been around much since last year and it's finally time for me to hand my tourniquet over to my daughter Stacey and with the help of Lynn Carvell and Sally Haywood I know that the business is in the best hands.
I have made truly lovely friends over the years and I want to thank every single one of you who has supported and trusted me with your blood tests. You are all amazing 🥰
