I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who made the Tractor Run in memory of Thomas McKeever the success that it was. A fitting tribute to the sort of fella Thomas was.
I would like to first and foremost thank all of the organisers for their tireless efforts that went into creating such a fantastic day; from the behind the scene preparation to keeping things running smoothly on the day.
I would next like to thank everyone who volunteered their time to help out on Sunday - those who directed traffic, sold raffle tickets, helped with registering tractors for the run and to those who served tea, coffee, soup and sandwiches.
I would like to thank all of those who donated prizes for the raffle, donated food and drink to serve at the event, the chip van who supplied food and drink ,everyone who lent out equipment for the day to the neighbours for helping out with parking the overflow of cars and tractors and the photographers on site.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone who showed up at the event, whether it be to drive a tractor in the run, or simply those who came to donate and show their support.
It wouldn’t have been half the day without the overwhelming support of our community and everyone who attended or showed support to the Tractor run via the go fund me page.
Myself, the McKeever family, Terence Duffin , Johnny Convery , Owen Kelly and all the other organisers have been taken back at the level of generosity extended our way over the past few weeks. it wouldn’t have been possible without every single person listed above.
With deepest sincerity, thankyou everyone.
