Just had a great week at Darren Salton Mastic Man Training School showing Aaron from Dexter Sealents different masticking techniques to sharpen up his mastic lines ❤️❤️Aaron knows building sites.
He manages them. Supervises them. Watched mastic work done properly - and done badly.
He’d even had a go himself. Bits and bobs. Enough to know the basics.
But knowing the basics and running your own sealant business are two very different things.
So he came to me for 3 days.
We worked on the things that separate someone who can do it - from someone who does it properly.
Tool selection. Prep. Pulling clean, consistent lines. The finishing details that clients actually notice.
He left with a proper foundation.
Not just better lines - but the understanding of why they’re better. That’s what sticks.
He’s just launched his own sealant business.
He came in knowing sites.
He left knowing his craft.
