This chandelier type light fitting came with our house & I’ve disliked it for 15 years - finally I’ve got around to transforming it!
I painted it silver then bought some cheap lampshades from B&Q. I painted them various shades of blue/green (using Annie Sloan paint obviously!) then glue gunned some fringe onto them.
Taa daa!!

That’s me shelving the paintbrushes for the summer - as always a huge thank you to all my customers and Sonya Angus: The Unique Boutique ❤️
I’m hoping to start up workshops again later in the year (regulations permitting) so please let me know if there are any specific things you’d like to try.

Previous workshops have covered a wide range, from paint techniques to lampshade making to stencilling to small paint projects but the world is our oyster!
I can also hold private workshops (in the past these have included birthday celebrations, baby showers or just an excuse for friends to get together)
Looking forward to hearing ideas and suggestions and I hope everyone has a magical summer ☀️

Well hello, hello everyone.

The Scottish Government guidelines have been updated after Monday’s news so I am still allowed to provide a local click + collect service 🙌🏻 I aim to offer this every Thursday in January 12-4pm.

During the summer lockdown my Therapeutic Thursdays were very well received, especially by those with a project on their ‘to do list’ that needed the magic touch of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

Now we are in the winter months and can’t be out in our gardens quite the same, this might be the time to pick your colour of paint and go for it 😊
