For sale - Hand painted wood dresser

Stunning wood chest of drawers which would be a statement piece in any room

This lovely dresser was a bit worse for wear when I collected it and there was considerable damage to the veneer and some damage on the inside of the unit. The veneer was removed and sanded down and damaged drawers repaired.

This was then sympathetically reimagined by painting with Fushion Mineral paint Ash, I manage to reuse the old handles sprayed Matt black to match the new colour scheme and added a lovely stencil design on the drawers to give it its very own individual look. Danish oil was applied on the drawers to bring out the lovely wood grain.

Wax finish in the drawers and the top of the dresser given a coat of polyvine for extra durability

This really is a lovely individual piece of furniture.

Stunning solid wooden chest of drawers which would be a statement piece in any bedroom.

This is a large solid wood piece of MCM furniture which has a date stamp of 1968 on the inside and has travelled across the Atlantic as sold in auction in Seattle in the 1980’s I have left all its little mementos in tact and sympathetically reimagined this beautiful piece of furniture

Painted with Fushion Mineral paint in Chateau, solid brass drawer handles, wax finish in the drawers and the top of the unit and bottoms drawers have been treated with wood oil and the whole unit given a coat of polyvine for extra durability

Lovely pair of MCM side-tables

This pair of tables were wanted as bedside tables.

They were sanded down and painted in Fushion Mineral paint Ash, then stained with a walnut wood finish, given a retro stencil design in Ash then finished with a polyvine clear coat for extra durability.
