It's such a pleasure to finish this cello neck & scroll restoration and showing it to his musician!
The cellist wanted to preserv most of the original wood as possible so we decided to go with theses multiple restorations : Neckgraft, remove the previous "paint retouch", pegs bushing, new pegbox walls and lots of retouching.

Before/After on a Leopold Widhalm cello 1760.
Craks repair, holes bushing with shavings from original wood, patch, arching correction, and varnish retouching. Many months of work ! 😅
