These bespoke Roman blinds were the perfect solution for this kitchen space. With forward opening windows positioned directly above the sink, we needed a design that worked practically without compromising the overall aesthetic.

Mounted directly onto the window frames, these Roman blinds keep the space feeling sleek, streamlined and effortless. Soft enough not to overpower the room, while the neutral tones work beautifully alongside the natural wood throughout the chalet 🪡

Ces stores sur mesure étaient la solution idéale pour cet espace cuisine. Avec des fenêtres à ouverture vers l’intérieur juste au-dessus de l’évier, il fallait imaginer une solution à la fois pratique et esthétique.

Fixés directement sur les cadres des fenêtres, ils gardent l’espace épuré et léger visuellement. Les tons neutres s’accordent parfaitement avec le bois naturel du chalet, apportant une finition douce et élégante 🪡

🇬🇧 Summer is returning to the mountains 🌿

A recent install in Samoëns featuring these gorgeous bespoke double pleated curtains. The subtle woven pattern within the fabric adds just enough depth and texture, quietly elevating the space.

One of the things we’ll never take for granted with this job… dressing windows with views like these. The greenery returning to the mountains, the warm light pouring through the chalet and that feeling that summer in the Alps is finally on its way ☀️

Une récente installation à Samoëns avec ces magnifiques rideaux sur mesure à double plis. Le motif tissé subtil du tissu apporte juste ce qu’il faut de profondeur et de texture, tout en rehaussant délicatement l’espace.

L’une des choses que nous ne prendrons jamais pour acquise dans ce métier… habiller des fenêtres avec des vues comme celles ci. La verdure qui revient dans les montagnes, la lumière chaleureuse qui traverse le chalet et cette sensation que l’été alpin approche enfin ☀️

🇬🇧 Just some of the tricks of the trade 🪡

On site at every install you’ll find our steamer and trusty crease release close by.

This is all part of the process called cutting in.

Once the curtains are hung, the fabric is carefully folded and shaped by hand to create those soft, even waves and a seamless finish. They are then lightly steamed, dressed into place and tied to train the fabric so it falls perfectly.

It is these final details that take curtains from newly installed to beautifully settled, giving that effortless look everyone loves ✨

🇫🇷 Quelques-uns des secrets du métier 🪡

Sur chaque installation, notre steamer et notre spray anti plis ne sont jamais bien loin.

Tout cela fait partie du processus appelé le “cutting in”.

Une fois les rideaux installés, le tissu est soigneusement plié et mis en forme à la main afin de créer ces vagues douces et régulières ainsi qu’une finition parfaitement élégante. Les rideaux sont ensuite légèrement vaporisés à la vapeur, ajustés et attachés pour entraîner le tissu à tomber naturellement et parfaitement.

Ce sont ces derniers détails qui transforment des rideaux fraîchement installés en une finition raffinée et parfaitement en place ✨
