There’s a new resident at fairy HQ,
So today in the 40 degree heat I made Ralf (the rabbit) a hay bag.
I guess I might have been useful to make a reel as they are all very “à la mode” on social media, but it was hot and I didn’t.
if you want to know how to make one you can always ask 😂

This one is for the book eating monster child 😂

There were many skeptical looks about the state of it when it arrived, and there did seem to be some munching noises coming from some of the woodwork….
But a few litres of some probably fairly noxious anti-beastie treatment and a few meters of funky fabric later and it’s all set for a summer of reading in the shade of the tree.
Pleased to be keeping this one (at least for a while 😁)

😁For sale😁

I am selling this great pair of 1960’s utility bar stools made in solid beech. They have brought us much pleasure, with their simple lines, slight tapering on the legs, and gorgeous turquoise vinyl seats, (not original but very much in keeping with their vintage MCM age)

These stool were built to last, with quality craftsmanship. The finger jointed seats and all other joints have stood the test If time and are still solid. They are both in good overall condition with only minor age related wear.

Now it is time that they must move on to kitchens new, and continue to delight others!

(Mostly because they are just too tall for our kitchen counter and I can’t bear the idea of sawing the legs down to size 😂)

The seat were refurbished by myself when we bought them, and could easily be changed to another colour if turquoise is not your thing!

My headphones were doing that nasty peeling thing on all the padded areas, but I am very attached to them, I’m sure I could have probably bought new ear pads but they definitely would not have been this cool if I had, and I always like doing something new just because I can.
So one swimming costume that was getting too small for “the small one” is being transformed into a bikini and the rest was clearly destined for this 😁😁😁

Sunday is our "low tech day."
We realised it is too easy to get sucked into screens and scrolling, so every Sunday we put down the phone, laptop, tablet, switch off the TVs and go low tech.

It’s now over a year since the (rapidly growing) small one saw her grandparents, but even though it’s not as good as in person, she came up with the idea of a knit -a- long with grandma over FaceTime. Too cute 🥰
