Ariege builder

I have lived and worked in the Ariege for fifteen years. My Son, pictured above, was only a few months old when we arrived and is now, unlike me, totally bilingual. When I first arrived I took on the renovation of a large maison de maître in La Bastide sur l Hers which gave me opportunity to find my way around some of the French idiosyncrasies and techniques. From there I teamed up with other tradesmen; English, Dutch and French enabling us to pull various skills together under one roof as it were!

Over the past few years I have worked together with an expert plumber and electrician to totally renovate three large local properties. These last three projects were photographed and now appear on this page for your perusal. My wife Jean has a keen eye for decoration and is very deft at furniture restoration as you can see. I’m happy to talk to anyone considering works large or small.
