Il a suffit d’une étincelle pour que naisse la culture. Première découverte majeure de l’humanité, le feu ‘prométhéen’ a permis la survie, puis la vie du ‘foyer’. Déchargée des préoccupations vitales (chaleur, défense contre les prédateurs), l’humanité est née. Depuis, le feu se ravive, se garde amoureusement, se transmet... Nous vous invitons à le célébrer au travers d'une sélection d'objets d'art qui l'ont apprivoisé : bougies, bougeoirs, luminaires, et oeuvres d'art. Du lundi au vendredi, 15h-18h30, ou sur rdv le reste du temps.

Meet Argi. A sculpture as well as a set of occasional table, stool, and centerpiece.
A tribute to the ancients, honored by the argizaiola (thin candle wrapped around a wooden support used in religious rites in the Basque Country), which reminiscent shape echoes pure geometry and the works of Brazilian sculptor Sergio Camargo.
Designed by Maentler studio () and locally crafted by and .
Currently on show at , as part of the 'Efflorescences' exhibition.

Elodie Maentler, co-founder of éditions du coté, will celebrate the 15th anniversary of her interior design consultancy in due course with new furniture pieces, some bearing the éditions du coté label ! At the heart of Collectiblefair's 'Architect Designer' section, four new projects will be unveiled for the first time ever as part of the 'Aimant si passion' exhibition. Come and join us in Brussels for a special preview !
