Gymnaestrada Just Started!

The Gymnaestrada Event made a great introduction of the Citynomadi wayfinding on their web site. There is an instruction, how to manage the map, each icon is briefly explained.

Citynomadi has both 2D and 3D interface, and the end user can choose from them freely according to their preference. There is a link to the 3D-map, which is more fluent to operate.

Spectacles’ Event Guidance

Spectacles make cities alive! Each of us notice the effect of tens of thousands of attendees, visitors and side events.

Spectacles often spread around the city, and there often are parades in the main streets.

The Gymnaestrada Joensuu, Finland will take place just at the beginning of June. Gymnaestrada trusts Citynomadi to guide the teams that gather together all over the country.

Helsinki Fashion Week

The fashion meets tradition in Helsinki Fashion Week tomorrow.

The main presentation will take place in Seurasaari, which is an open-air museum of the living environment of rural 19th century Finland.

Meet the most wonderful Finnish fashion on Wednesday, 27th of May at the public event at 6 pm and invitation only at 8 pm. Citynomadi’s event map is available for the visitors.

Live Music Since 1790

The city of Turku will launch the new concert hall Fuuga (Fugue) for the Autumn season 2026 and created the Live Music since 1790 to honour the history of Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, TFO.

This is a great opportunity to introduce you to the long history of the city's music life from 1790 till 2026.

‘The Live Music Since 1790’ belongs to the collection of the cultural exercise walks on Citynomadi map and it offers three routes with a common destination – the brand-new concert hall Fuuga.

One of them is accessible by default starting from Logomo via the marketplace along to the riverside.

City of Architecture

Search for the pieces of architecture by your birth year!
Oulu, the capital of culture 2026 is well-known for its richness in architecture.

In connection to SAFA - Finnish Architectures - celebration of 150 years, the city of Oulu has released the most interesting contribution on the result of architectural competitions.

The route is well planned, because e.g. the colour codes are described, and they open by the architectural segments.

The year of the competition is marked after the project name on title, and look up, which building is from your birth year, just for fun!

Sports Center Under Reconstruction

The large sports center which educates coaches and hosts top athletes in Finland, will be refined into a modern Sport and Recreation Center.

The construction work affects mobility around the site: driving, walking and cycling in the first place. Citynomadi’s wayfinding is a flexible tool to offer reliable and realtime guidance around the site.
