When everything can be done perfectly digitally, the imperfectly human reveals itself as a luxury. Without rejecting technology, we have always chosen to look in a different direction and embrace craftsmanship.
Creating pieces from solid wood—like these benches—and highlighting their irregular colors and knots, allowing them to evolve over time, has defined our identity from the very beginning.
It hasn’t been easy (and it still isn’t). We once crafted a bed that we thought was magnificent, but upon receiving it, the client saw something erotic in the grain of the *pinotea* wood. Unbelievable, yet true. They returned it.
The value of the handmade is perhaps best appreciated by those who understand the difference.
Choosing the imperfect, the handcrafted, and the emotional—today more than ever—can make all the difference. In the right context, that elevates any design.
