Escofet 1886 Since its foundation in 1886, the story of this Barcelona-based company is inseparable from its spearheading technology and aesthetics.

Escofet is a Barcelona-based company which, through the design and industrialisation of urban elements and architectural concrete, transforms cities and promotes the use of public space. The revolution brought about by Escofet's hydraulic tiles for interiors, designed in our workshops by Gaudí, culminated in a great leap forward from cement to concrete in the 1970's, one of Escofet's major success

stories that marked another manufacturing milestone: reinforced vibrated cast stone. This material led to our expansion into a broad range of building areas, pavements, town planning projects, spatial organization and avant garde designs for street furniture.

Nantes draws from mass-produced textile furniture. Fabrics suspended on light, sometimes foldable structures, where frame and surface remain independent.
Here, that logic is distilled to its essence. A membrane in tension, almost without thickness, takes shape in UHPC-Slimconcrete, pushing the material to its limits: minimal section, maximum structural expression.
A solution designed to inhabit the outdoors naturally, where architecture becomes close, almost everyday.

Nantes remite al mobiliario textil de producción en serie. Telas suspendidas sobre estructuras ligeras, a veces plegables, donde soporte y superficie permanecen independientes.
Aquí, esa lógica se depura hasta lo esencial. Una membrana en tensión, casi sin espesor, se materializa en UHPC-Slimconcrete y lleva el material a su límite: mínima sección, máxima expresión estructural.
Una solución pensada para habitar el exterior con naturalidad, donde la arquitectura se vuelve cercana, casi cotidiana.

Aquí, aquesta lògica es depura fins a l’essencial. Una membrana en tensió, gairebé sense gruix, pren forma en UHPC-Slimconcrete i porta el material al seu límit: secció mínima, màxima expressió estructural.

In El Cabanyal, Valencia, the intervention begins with a careful reading of the place. An environment with a strong identity, where public space becomes an opportunity to reinforce its Mediterranean character.
The project redefines areas for staying and movement, integrating functionality, sustainability, and a contemporary aesthetic in dialogue with the neighborhood’s memory.
A more livable urban landscape, where each element contributes to activating everyday life and giving the space back to its inhabitants.

En el Cabanyal, Valencia, la intervención parte de una lectura atenta del lugar. Un entorno con identidad propia donde el espacio público se convierte en oportunidad para reforzar su carácter mediterráneo.
Una solución que redefine las áreas de estancia y circulación, integrando soluciones que combinan funcionalidad, sostenibilidad y una estética contemporánea en diálogo con la memoria del barrio. Un paisaje urbano más habitable, donde cada pieza contribuye a activar la vida cotidiana y a devolver el espacio a quienes lo habitan.

Brisa is born from erosion. The perforated surface of this piece of urban furniture evokes marine rocks shaped by wind and water.
Developed in UHPC-Slimconcrete, Brisa explores the structural possibilities of a material that allows for minimal sections without compromising strength. The perforations lighten the volume and enhance performance: they promote ventilation in warm climates and accelerate water drainage in wet environments.
A solution that breathes, filters, and engages with its surroundings, as if time itself were part of its design.

Brisa nace de la erosión. La superficie perforada de este mobiliario urbano remite a las rocas marinas moldeadas por el viento y el agua.
Desarrollada en UHPC-Slimconcrete, Brisa explora las posibilidades estructurales de un material que permite reducir la sección al mínimo sin renunciar a la resistencia. Las perforaciones aligeran el volumen y mejoran su comportamiento: favorecen la ventilación en climas cálidos y aceleran la evacuación del agua en entornos húmedos.
Una solución que respira, filtra y dialoga con el entorno, como si el tiempo también formara parte de su diseño.

Desenvolupada en UHPC-Slimconcrete, Brisa explora les possibilitats estructurals d’un material que permet reduir la secció al mínim sense renunciar a la resistència. Les perforacions alleugereixen el volum i milloren el seu comportament: afavoreixen la ventilació en climes càlids i acceleren l’evacuació de l’aigua en entorns humits.
Una solució que respira, filtra i dialoga amb l’entorn, com si el temps també formés part del seu disseny.

First pieces. New possibilities.
We introduce our first urban elements manufactured using 3D printing technology, expanding how we design and produce for public space.
Gata and Vimet represent the first material expression of this capability: solutions where design freedom, material efficiency and precision respond to the evolving needs of contemporary cities.
Manufactured in 3D-printed concrete, the piece can be presented in its raw industrial finish or with a burnished surface that exposes the aggregate, creating a warmer and more tactile experience.

In the Gaudí Year, we revisit some of our most representative interventions with the panot, such as Westfield La Maquinista. In this project, we implemented the Gaudí tile across the entire intervention area, bringing an icon of Barcelona’s urban landscape into a contemporary environment that connects the city with commercial activity. In this space, we also installed Boxland, creating new areas for use and stay that reinforce its role as an open and dynamic meeting place. An intervention that highlights how historical elements can continue to generate identity and experience in contemporary spaces.

En el Año Gaudí, rememoramos algunas de nuestras intervenciones más representativas con el panot, como Westfield La Maquinista. En este proyecto implantamos el panot Gaudí en todo el ámbito de actuación, llevando un icono del paisaje barcelonés a un entorno contemporáneo que conecta ciudad y actividad comercial. En este espacio también instalamos Boxland, generando nuevas áreas de uso y estancia que refuerzan la vocación del conjunto como lugar de encuentro abierto y dinámico. Una intervención que pone en valor cómo los elementos históricos pueden seguir generando identidad y experiencia en los espacios contemporáneos.

The Skate Plaza of Sants has recently opened, a skate meeting point that respects residents’ rest. Born from the redevelopment of Plaça dels Països Catalans, in front of Sants Station, the project activates public space through skateboarding. We contributed with two Bancalosa pieces, ideal for skate due to their 4 m length and low height. Thanks to , , , , and for making this possible.

Recientemente se inauguró el Skate Plaza de Sants, un punto de encuentro para el skate que respeta el descanso vecinal. Nacido de las obras en Plaça dels Països Catalans, frente a la Estación de Sants, el proyecto activa el espacio público mediante la práctica del skate. Its modular logic comes to life with Kushi Line, a system that creates long, continuous linear arrangements through central and end modules. A flexible sequence that shapes space with quiet rhythm and generous seating.
