Home Grown Design Studio A pioneering (sustainable futurist) design studio. Encouraging innovative, radical ideas to highlight living architectures with a passion for materials.

In order for us to care for our environment we must return back to basics, respecting the primary resources that inundate our lives on this planet. These include precious elements such as earth, shelter and water, that makes living on earth without either one, impossible. We must learn to embrace, challenge, protect and enhance these principle elements during our lifetime, in order to drastically

minimise our contribution towards climate change. On our website we explain our aims, goals and commitments, in the hope that you will join us on this journey to saving our planet for future generations.

Sarah's Aavs Granada, Waterworks, raises awareness of the consequences that climate change presents to the local community and the repercussions which can be felt due to limited water resources.

Discover alternative & innovative methods of water retention, and management architectures.

Work, live, swim, drink, question, explore and interact with this transparent fluid, vital to all forms of life, in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Sarah Aavs Granada, is currently designing and building her own home in the Alpujarras, Spain.

Daughter of a Channel Island’s vegetable farmer, Sarah is embarking on a fully sustainable lifestyle, aiming to transform her new home, 50 acres of mountainous terrain, into a productive food forest and educational permaculture center.

This week's architect is Sarah Le Gresley, founder of 'Home Grown Design Studio' .eu
- a sustainable organisation focusing on minimising climate change through architectural intervention.
Sarah is the Programme Head of Aavs Granada and a former AA tutor. She holds an Art Degree and a diploma graduate from the AA.
