** Call for Workshop*
REVITALIZATION OF HISTORIC WATERFRONT
Case Study of The Suez Canal Cities
Join us in an integrated urban design workshop in Port Said and Ismailia in Egypt. The Workshop is focusing on exploring the historic waterfront challenges and potentials. These waterfronts have played vital roles throughout history, enduring periods of prosperity and degradation, peace and conflict while serving both locals and foreigners. Today, these areas struggle to maintain their integrity and identity in the face of modern pressures. Thus, waterfronts are consistently among the most attractive points in historic cities, drawing not only locals and visitors but also investors and governmental development plans.
