Cycliste is the first dockless bikesharing program in Egypt that aims at introducing bikesharing as a reliable commuting service. Users sign up on the mobile application, they locate the nearest bike, unlock the bike through the mobile application, ride the bike to their destination and leave it there without having to worry about its safety or maintenance. Also, Cycliste is premised on the shared economy notion, whereby we don't own the bikes. Bike owners that are not using their bikes to their full capacity can upload them into our system and create an income up to 7000 LE/year.A

«سيكلست» هو مشروع يهدف لتقديم مشاركة العجل كوسيلة معتمدة للمواصلات. يدخل المستخدم على تطبيق هاتفي يحدد أقرب عجلة له، يفتح قفل العجلة عن طريق التطبيق، يركب العجلة و يتركها في المكان الذي وصل إليه دون أن عناء نقلها أو تصلحيها.

Now is your chance to join Cycliste! We are looking for someone who can hack together cool stuff using arduino to join our team and help us take our bike locks to the next level.

We're looking for a hardware hacker who:

- Believes in the vision of Cycliste and dreams about spreading the cycling culture all over Egypt
- Has experience developing arduino projects
- Is familiar with bluetooth, gps and cellular network modules
- Can demonstrate his capability by showing us a sample of code from previous work
- Believes that for every problem, a solution must exist!
- Is ready to commit 20-30 hours a week starting from the 17th of June
- Dynamic, self-motivated (not just cliche words trust us) and cool; you MUST be very cool !

Cycliste won first place in the in the AAST Entrepreneurship Rally and recieved a cash prize of 20,000 LE! The rally is organized by the AAST Entrepreneurship Center and the USAID/Egypt.

Cycliste team values the capacity building, exposure, and the networking that we recieved there even more than the cash prize!
